Back Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for an Ukrainian Short-Term Fellowship you must pass all the following eligibility requirements:

  1. You are currently resident in Ukraine.
    OR
    You were resident in Ukraine, but you have been displaced due to war in the country.
  2. You have been awarded a PhD.
  3. You have at least one recent published paper in an international scientific journal.
  4. No more than three years have passed since your last published paper, unless there are duly justified career breaks, such as compulsory national service or parental leave. If you feel you have strong mitigating circumstances, please complete the application form and the system will provide you with the facility to provide your explanation on the Eligibility Details page.
  5. Your work is aimed at furthering the science of biochemistry and molecular biology.
  6. You are a member of the Ukrainian Biochemical Society.
    OR
    You are seeking for a stay in a laboratory hosted by a scientist who is a member of a FEBS Constituent Society.
