Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a Collaborative Developmental Scholarship you must pass all the following eligibility requirements:

You are currently engaged in research for a doctoral thesis.
OR
You already hold a PhD and;
you have at least one published paper in an international scientific journal (cited in Scopus) and;
you obtained your PhD less than six years ago (at the point of applying) or will be less than 40 years of age on the 31 December 2023.
- You are currently working in a laboratory in one of these countries: Armenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Morocco, Serbia, Tunisia or Ukraine.
- Your work is aimed at furthering the science of biochemistry and molecular biology.
- You are a member of a FEBS Constituent Society.
- You are seeking for a stay in a well-funded laboratory elsewhere in Europe (in a different FEBS member country).
- You have previously not been awarded more than one FEBS Collaborative Developmental Scholarship or FEBS Summer Fellowship and at least one year has passed since completion of that Scholarship/Fellowship.
